points
what's this all about?
our durian points system rewards you for trading on the platform. you'll earn durian points when you open positions and again when you close them. the more volume you trade, the more points you rack up. these durian points will later be proportional to your allocation in the upcoming airdrop.
you can see your earned durian points directly in your trade history and on your rewards page, making it easy to track how your trading activity translates to potential airdrop allocation.
points calculation methodology
calculation principles
the durian points system operates on the following principles:
durian points awarded are equal to 10% of the notional dollar value of each trade
durian points are credited at both position opening and position closure
points for closing positions are based on the position's value at the time of closing, which could be higher or lower than the opening value
leverage multipliers directly affect durian points earned by increasing the notional value
calculation examples
standard trading scenario
when a user opens a position worth $10, they receive 1 durian point immediately (10% of $10). when they close this position, they receive additional durian points equal to 10% of the position's current value at closing. the total points earned is simply the sum of opening and closing values.
for example, if you close at $12, you get 1.2 points for closing (2.2 total). if you close at $8, you get 0.8 points for closing (1.8 total).
leverage-enhanced calculations
leverage significantly impacts durian points accrual through increased notional value. formula: durian points = margin amount × leverage factor × 0.1
example: with a $10 margin at 5x leverage, the resulting $50 notional position generates 5 durian points at opening (10% of $50). if you close this position at $60, you receive 6 points for closing (11 total). if you close at $40, you receive 4 points for closing (9 total).
behind the scenes tech stuff
how it works under the hood
when you trade, our engine calculates your position's value and automatically credits durian points to your account. this happens in real-time for both opening and closing trades.
we've designed the durian points system to be fast and efficient. durian points calculations happen in the background so they don't slow down your trading experience. during really busy times, we batch-process durian points to keep everything running smoothly.
edge cases and special situations
what about liquidations?
if your position gets liquidated, you'll still receive durian points for both the opening and the closing of the position. even though the position is force-closed by the system rather than closed manually by you, the liquidation counts as a closing event for durian points calculation purposes. the durian points awarded for the liquidation will be based on 10% of the final liquidation value of the position.
system hiccups
sometimes tech fails - we get it. if there's a system glitch during your trade, don't worry about your durian points. we run daily checks to make sure you get all the durian points you've earned.

trading pairs
you'll earn durian points no matter what trading pair you're using. all durian points are calculated based on 10% of the USD value of your trades.
special events and multipliers
the platform regularly hosts special events that offer multipliers on durian points. keep a lookout for the boosted rewards zone.
trading pair multipliers
certain trading pairs may have temporary point multipliers. during these events, trading the specified pairs will earn you extra durian points. for example, a 2x multiplier on BTC/USD trading would double all durian points earned from both opening and closing positions on that pair.
how multipliers work
multipliers are applied to the total points earned from a trade (both opening and closing points combined). for example:
standard trade: open $100 position, close at $110 = 21 durian points (10 + 11, at 10% rate)
same trade with 1.5x multiplier = 31.5 durian points (21 × 1.5)
all active multipliers will be displayed when you're trading, so you'll know exactly how many durian points you'll earn.
